Ketchikan, Alaska - Another season of the popular dance event called Sweet Second Saturdays will kick off September 10th. The first dance of the season will feature music by Paddy's Leather Breeches and Ketchikan Dance Caller Dale Miller.

Sweet Second Saturdays' dances feature contra, square and circle dances; however, no dance experience is required to participate. This season's first folk dance will be held at the United States Coast Guard's Crows Nest.

According to information provided by Carol Alley, the doors open 6:30 pm Saturday and the dancing starts at 7:30 pm. There is an admission charge of $5.00 for adults and youth under 18 are admitted free.
