RE: Affordable Care Act

As we have seen, the implementation of the Affordable Care Act has been less than stellar. Yes, there are people who are going to pay more as the act stands now. Is that a good reason to throw out an entire law that has been voted on and approved by the Senate, House, and President. I don't think so.

Yes there are imperfections that need to be worked out, but let there be no mistake, over 50,000 people last year alone died because they had inadequate medical coverage. If those 50,000 Americans would have been casualties of a terrorist attack, we would be in another war.

So, let's work together to build on the sound and selfish idea that if everyone is better off then so am I. I don't care if the private or public sector champions this cause, let's just take a humane step in the right direction.

If any of you have a better idea on how to assist in helping those less able to secure affordable health care, please let it be known.
