Dawn Allen-Herron

I was also at the quilters' meeting when Dawn Allen-Herron introduced herself as a newcomer to Ketchikan. Her unabashed enthusiasm for what Ketchikan was and what it could be really struck a chord with me at the time, and caused me to take a closer look at the place I'd called home for many years. It is Dawn's fresh perspective and focussed energy that Ketchikan needs right now. She has already demonstrated a strong commitment to making Ketchikan a better place to live, with her work in the schools, the community and the church. Dawn is open-minded, intelligent, and just. Hers will be a strong voice in Juneau. I urge people to give her their trust.
