We now have many donation canisters
out and about. If your place of business does not have one,
please make one and start collecting donations. Turn in the
proceeds to the Katrina Relief Fund at Tongass Federal Credit
Union. Canisters are now available at: Tongass Federal Credit Union, A&P, Madison Lumber, Timber & Marine, The Edge, Lumberjack Show, Lighthouse Market, Knudsen Cove, Heavenly Creations, Red Anchor, Touch of Gold, The Outlet Store, Ketchikan Fish Market, The Bead Shop, Ketchikan Coffee on the Dock, Mikes Elbow Room, Polar Treats, Silver Thimble, Royal Jewlers, Klassique Jewlers, Gold Ruush Jewlers, The Fur Shop, Sockeye Sams Internet Cafe and more tba. If your business or location has put out collection canisters, please email me so that we can add you to the list. holston@kpunet.net More volunteers are needed for the big event,dinner with live music, Sept. 24 at the Ted Ferry Civic Center: food, music, clean-up etc. And be thinking of a favorite dessert to bring.
