Early morning noise
By Lisa Martin

Monday

I've been back in Ketchikan for two years now. I know exactly what the fuss is about. I have never seen so much domestic violence, drug abuse, and pill popping individuals in my life. Maybe it's a smaller town and you see it around you on a daily and nightly basis...or hear of it.

I myself would like to see our community be back in nice shape and be proud of our clean state. Some people don't have pride of ownership or rental properties. Let alone being courteous and picking up your own garbage.

Loud and disruptive behavior when children are involved in a home, is sad. Thank God I left to give my children a chance to strive to avoid such annoying tolerance. You opened a door for others to share the same opinion. Wake up people, live life respectfully. Not that it will happen, but we can only hope some day this will stop, for the sake of our own children and maybe some day yours.
