VOTE NO
By Chris J. Herby

I agree with Roberta McCreary's comments about the misuse of taxpayer money to mislead the public. If this is in fact appropriate, then I suppose it will be OK for our same City Council to vote to use $25,000.00 or so of our money to campaign for their own re-election. This is small town politics at its finest. The council ignored input from the cruise lines as well as the public and chose the most expensive alternative per berth for additional dock space. The only way for this community to show them that we aren't that stupid and won't tolerate this is to get out the "NO" vote. Everyone will need to mobilize quickly and encourage others to stand up and just say NO .
