Passing of Bill Thomas, Sr.
By Bobbie McCreary

Friday PM

To all Bill's friends and family, we feel the sorrow of losing such a vital community member. At the same time we celebrate what he was able to contribute to our community during his time here. I did not know him as long as many of you...but with certainty I knew he would show up when needed and you would find him actively participating at any meeting that had youth issues as its topic. I am sure he made a significant impact on many young lives.

With fondness I will long remember his role in a Future Search Scenario as the "bus driver" enjoying our pothole-free roads, he was also a great actor! (This was during the Youth Future Search conference entitled "Making Ketchikan a Great Place to Live and Come Back to")

Let us continue his work, in his memory.
