RE: Keep Ketchikan's Alaskan Spirit

I wanted to thank Kathy Graham for her suggestion that Bernard K. Passman or any other property owner consider contacting Historic Ketchikan about possible colors for their buildings and/or participation in our Paint Up Fix Up Program. Historic Ketchikan started its Paint Up Fix Program in 1990 precisely because home and business owners wanted assistance in choosing colors that made their properties look better and helped them fit in with the properties around them. Over the years, we have helped more than 200 property owners choose their colors and also have supplied paint vouchers that allowed them to rebates on up to $100 worth of paint purchased. This year's program is still taking applications through June 1. You can contact us at 225-5515 or histktn@kpunet.net for more information. Buildings do not have to be historic and can be anywhere within the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. We do have a limit of 30 properties this year, so contact us as soon as possible.

Thanks again, Kathy
