Two Ketchikan Residents Arrested For Possession of Heroin

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Officers of the Ketchikan Police Department on Wednesday arrested Corey A. Howe, 24 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, and Rosemary E. White, 21 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska.
The Ketchikan Police Department had received information that Howe and White were traveling to Ketchikan and had in their possession Heroin. The two were allowed to travel and while they were awaiting a flight to Ketchikan, they were taken into custody inside the Seattle Tacoma International Airport by an airport interdiction task force team.
After contact by the Seattle airport interdiction task force team, Howe and White were found to be in possession of Heroin. The two were transported to the Ketchikan.
Both Howe and White are charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree Conspiracy and Attempted Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree. Howe and White are being held at the Ketchikan Correctional Center without bail.
Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
