Two Arrested in Undercover Drug Operation

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Officers of the Ketchikan Police department and the Alaska State Troopers executed a search warrant Thursday at a Saxman residence.  The search was the conclusion of an undercover drug operation stemming from the sales of methamphetamine. Officers arrested Donald L. Turley, 23 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska.

During the search, drugs, drug paraphernalia, a stolen hand gun and over $2,000.00 were seized. 

Turley was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, A felony, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felony and Theft in the Second Degree, C Felony, for possession of a stolen handgun.

Turley was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was booked and held without bail.

Also arrested at the residence was Ryan Brandt, 26 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska.  He was charged with Violating Conditions of Release and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree.  Brandt was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was booked and held on $500.00 bail.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
