Threatening note surfaces in another local school

Ketchikan, Alaska - Ketchikan School Superintendent Harry Martin announced this afternoon that a similar note to one found at Schoenbar was found written on a stall in the girls' restroom at Houghtaling Elementary School Thursday afternoon.

Superintendent Martin made the announcement Thursday afternoon in an effort to inform parents of the incident. "For the safety of the students we will have an officer at Houghtaling School tomorrow," said Martin.

Martin said the district appreciates the concern of parents. The district along with the police will also be investigating the incident at Houghtaling School said the Superintendent.
