Organ donation

In a letter in response to my letter, MJ Cadle asks that LifeSharers not deny transplants to people unable to donate their organs. LifeSharers is a network of organ donors who ask that their organs be offered first to people who have agreed to donate their own organs when they die.

LifeSharers does not exclude anyone due to any pre-existing medical condition.

Everyone can offer to donate their organs. It's up to transplant surgeons to decide after death if those organs are transplantable. Lots of organs that would have been thrown away just a few years ago are now being transplanted.

LifeSharers welcomes everyone, and we turn no one away. Memberhip is free at www.lifesharers.org or by calling 1-888-ORGAN88.
