Esperanza - Greenpeace vessel

Ketchikan, AK - The Esperanza was photographed Tuesday afternoon anchored west of Peninsula Point at approximately mile 5 North Tongass Highway. The Esperanza which is the latest and largest vessel in Greenpeace's fleet arrived in Ketchikan on Monday.

During the public comment section of Monday evening's Ketchikan Gateway Borough Assembly meeting, Bob Graham spoke to the Assembly. He said they hoped the people of Ketchikan would approach their visit with an open mind and not pre-judge or make assumptions about their purpose for being here. Graham is a Greenpeace representative.
