John Trugon and Kelly
Kraszewski. along with their son Alex, made it to the lake on
time to exhange their wedding vows Friday...
Ketchikan, Alaska - John Trugon and Kelly Kraszewski had no difficulty
with getting to the lake on time to exchange their wedding vows
Friday. The ceremony held at Ward Lake was a delightful wedding
in true Ketchikan fashion - rubber boots, in the lake and in
the rain. It was a beautiful ceremony attended by many friends
and family.
In keeping with the spirit
of the moment, a pair of Mallards joined the ceremony for a swim-by
as if to be the first to extend their congratulations to the
happy family. Or maybe these Mallards were familiar with the
old belief that to ensure good luck, sometimes the groom would
make a point of giving a gift of food to the first person the
party encountered.
