 Thirty thousand little lights
hung along the road
sparkled in the winter night
and caused an overload.

No one knew just what it was,
the giant stars or the Santa Claus.
Or was it the reindeer prancing along?
Or the inflatable Snowman singing a song?

But looking up into the sky
we saw the perfect night
millions of glittering spinning stars
and the glow of full-moon light.
