(SitNews) - The City Clerk’s office has received two letters of withdrawal from candidates who have filed to run for office in the regular municipal election of October 6, 2015. The following candidates were each running for the one-year seat on the City Council that was vacated by Matt Olsen in August.

Although the candidates have submitted letters of withdrawal, the ballots have already been printed and the names appear on the ballot.

Due to the withdrawal letters, no votes for either of these candidates will be counted.
