Mail Service

We have quite a few mail orders for our canned product. Have noticed a definite deterioration in the quality of mail service, especially in the past two years. The following is an example of the journey taken by a medium sized flat rate box I shipped earlier this month.

Date & Time Status of Item Location
December 18, 2013 Depart USPS Sort Facility JUNEAU, AK 99801
December 17, 2013 , 4:59 pm Processed through USPS Sort Facility JUNEAU, AK 99801
December 13, 2013 Depart USPS Sort Facility KETCHIKAN, AK 99901
December 13, 2013 , 11:26 am Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility KETCHIKAN, AK 99901
December 12, 2013 Electronic Shipping Info Received
December 12, 2013 , 2:13 pm Dispatched to Sort Facility KLAWOCK, AK 99925
December 12, 2013 , 1:53 pm Acceptance KLAWOCK, AK 99925

They advertise 3 day delivery. But as you will notice it took 6 days for it to leave Alaska. Probably no solution to this problem as the Postal System is bogged down by a bloated pension system.
