KCCB concert

Monday PM

The concert today given by the Ketchikan Community Concert Band was once again a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Under the direction of Roy McPherson, one is never disappointed in the program.

And of course, Jim Alguire always adds a bit of good humor during the intermission.

And the percussion section was once again another WOW!

A good balance - Roy knows how to put together balance and compositions.

I won't say anything about the program - you can read about it in the main part of Sitnews.

Thank you to all musicians in our town that are putting together wonderful music for the month of December - and all the performers all over town, from the youngest participant to the more advanced/mature.

Ketchikan does not lack for talent!!! SO if you are interested in singing or playing, there is always a spot for you to become a part of this arts-minded community. Music/art is a treat to one's self and when shared, a treat for others to enjoy.
