This is a personal invitation to join the KGB Planning Department's Unofficial Site. The Planning Department encourages everyone to become a member and help continue to improve the Ketchikan Gateway Borough as a vibrant and productive place to live.

The Planning Department's mission is to assist citizens and policymakers to build an attractive community, achieve economic growth, manage the Borough's land heritage, and resolve community land use and development issues.

To achieve our mission we need the public's input, this means you! To assist us with the planning process you should be informed and willing to give enough time to provide opinions. This site is our way to help keep you informed and receive your input easily.

The Unofficial site is a social networking site that allows for easy tracking through email and/or RSS. It also allows you to ask questions of the Planning Staff and join the group discussions that you are interested in, such as Ward Cove, Lands, Economic Development, Downtown, or a group not created yet.
