Ketchikan Community Chorus Chrismas Program
By Judith Green

December 23, 2008
Tuesday AM

On Sunday afternoon, a lovely cold clear afternoon, and wonderful choral music was heard at the Presbyterian Church by the Ketchikan Community Chorus, directed by Steve Kinney.
There were solos and a men's quartet along with the full chorus. At the end of the program the audience was invited to join the chorus in singing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus and some traditional Chrismas songs.

The chorus members put in a lot of time for this performance, which is an annual program, and it was well received.

It was a very pleasant way to spend Sunday afternoon, joining with the community as audience or songster.

Thank you to the members of the Ketchikan Community Chorus, director Steve Kinney, accompanist Brenda Durden, and the refreshment committee headed by Sheila Zastrow.
