Christmas Tree - I too am disappointed
By Marie Jeanne Cadle

Each year I look forward to the sight of the Christmas tree downtown. In years past it was next to the original visitor center where you could see it driving both north and south and while you were walking or shopping down town.

I was very disappointed to see where they put the tree this year. About the only time I get a good look at it is when I am leaving Tongass Trading, which is not an everyday occurrence.

I do hope next year the tree goes back to its old location so it is more easily viewed and enjoyed by all.
