Ketchikan Lions Club

As a past Ketchikan Lions Club member I enjoyed the article giving information on the what the club is doing there in Ketchikan. The Lions Club in Alaska and the world is one organization that really works for the folks in their towns and of the world. I continued in the Lions Club but never forgot the Club there in Ketchikan where I got my feet wet. A roar to them and their work -- from providing insurance for the 4th activities to raising monies for the fireworks display -- amazing work fellow Lions.

I hope the businesses in Ketchikan Area and around the world help and support this effort.
The Lions Club prime goal is eyesight, I remember Lions delivering eyes to Alaska Airs to fly them to the lower 48 from donors in Ketchikan. Free eye glasses for those that can not afford them, also now hearing aids.

So those of you in Ketchikan grease up your wallets and donate to a club that uses 100% of the donations to do what they say they are going to do -- not 80% but 100%. Different things are done to pay for admin expenses. They do not take the donations for fireworks or to pay for paperwork or coffee in the pot.

Join and help them, you will be changed for life as I and many more I know were.

Way to go Ketchikan Lions Club...
