Ketchikan, Alaska - In a brief ceremony held Thursday, Ketchikan
Borough Manager Roy Eckert handed over the "key' to the
new Fawn Mountain Elementary School to Principal Barbara Roberts,
Superintendent Harry Martin and School Board President Russell
Thomas.

Officially the building was released by the Borough to the Ketchikan
School District several days ago. The first classes will be held
in the new school in January 2006.
