2nd ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE HOPES TO RAISE 4 TONS
FOR SALVATION ARMY, NEEDY FAMILIES

Ketchikan, Alaska - Ketchikan's second annual Food Drive is set for Saturday, December 10, 2005, between the hours of 10AM and 4PM, to benefit needy families through the Ketchikan Salvation Army.

This high-profile event will be held in the Plaza Mall parking lot. Many local individuals, businesses and service organizations have already committed time, materials and food to the effort.

The Food Drive is being organized by the staff of AM 930-KTKN and Gateway 106.7FM, the local radio stations of Alaska Broadcast Communications, Inc., which will broadcast the 6-hour event live. The company's goal is to collect 4 tons of food through donations.
