Readers: Does anyone remember?

Does anyone remember? Ole Haynes Sr. died in 1954, "after injuries suffered in a shingle mill accident." Does anyone remember.... was that the shingle mill at the foot of Carlanna Street? Or maybe that was the term used to describe the Spruce Mill? Or was there another "shingle mill"? I'd appreciate any help you can give me to add this information to my files.

And to all my old and dear Ketchikan friends: "Hello! I miss all of you, more than you know!!!
