HELP!
By Jerry Cegelske

December 01, 2005
Thursday

I need YOUR help.  I just found out about a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration grant announcement that we can use to clean up the Gravina Island shoreline.  The problem is it is due on December 12!

If you or your organization can assist with the cleanup as a volunteer, equipment operator volunteer or offer other assistance, please contact me and let me know.

We need to match the funds we would receive from the grant.  If we have a list of volunteers, equipment and other assistance in the cleanup, we can use this as matching "funds".  It states" Match can come from a variety of publlic and private sources and can include in-kind  goods and services such as private boat use and volunteer labor."

Should you be able to help, please send a letter stating that you would like to help with the "Gravina Island Shoreline Cleanup" and list the volunteers, material, or goods you can assist with and their estimated value.

A statement of how much this project is needed would also be appreciated.

Letters can be addressed to:

Gravina Island Shoreline Cleanup Project Coordinator
C/O Jerry Cegelske
Ketchikan Gateway Borough
344 Front St.
Ketchikan, AK 99901

Your assistance in this cleanup is greatly appreciated.  Please send them as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Jerry Cegelske
