Ketchikan, Alaska - It was a typical Ketchikan day. It was windy with a touch of mist last Friday afternoon. However, the gray skies did not dampen the spirits of all attending the fabulous Christmas luncheon held at the Ketchikan Senior Center.

From the moment this joyous event began, the air was filled with fun-filled laughter. The Center, merrily adorned with Christmas décor with colorful bursts of holiday cheer everywhere from the tree, to the walls and windows, to the piano! Friends dined with expressions of welcoming faces as sounds of the season added to the backdrop ambiance.

Seniors enjoyed a variety of holiday treats as they shared and opened gifts. There were many visitors including Mayor Bob Weinstein and Steve Williams. Even special guests Santa, Rudolph and an elf from the North Pole made an appearance.
