Cats are a waste of fur. I know, I've had seven in the last
33 years. Two of them are running around the house as I write
this, upset because the computer is on my lap and they can't
jump up in it. Except, you don't own cats, you only provide
them with food, water, a litter box, and your favorite chair
to sleep on. For that, you get hissed at when they're in a bad
mood, scratched when they're pissed; or completely ignored until
they want food. Mine only respond to bribary; I have to shake
a jar of kitty treats before they'll even give me the time of
day. The only time they purr is when they're laying in the bed
with me because they know it keeps me awake.
Now, as for cloning the wife,
after 33 years with me, I don't think Alice would want to go
through that again.
