Off Santa's Naughty List

George Lybrand, what can I say? Just when I had given up all hope on you - you turn around and do something I agree with. I think the proposed reductions in property tax and KPU rates are right on! Good job George. I think Santa may be rethinking your coal gift right now. This may be just the sort of action that can move you off his naughty list. In all seriousness - I commend you on this course of action. I also agree with your rationale behind such an action. Merry Christmas!

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! (Yes I dared to say Christmas instead of Holiday) I want to thank Sitnews for continuing to remain the best place for local news and forum for opinions. I have never been accused of being too reserved. But I would like to extend a genuine "Merry Christmas" to everyone in Ketchikan, including our local government officials who often catch the blunt end of my frustrations, however deserved.

My family and I are proud to call Ketchikan our home and we look forward to more family relocating here. My pregnant wife Angie, our unborn daughter, my son Wesley and I wish all of Ketchikan a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
