Lost fortunes and other dividend crimes
By A. M. Johnson
November 02, 2017
Shocked,I am shocked to think our legislature realizing the results of action this article brings out, had no idea the projected action to extract funds from the Permanent Fund would result in this fiscal loss.
Having the subject now brought to the public attention in language understood by the common folk should have the legislature scrambling to give denial to any knowledge this savaging of the fund earning potential hence the decline of projected dividend of coming years, compounded by the Governors action in cutting the current dividends of last year going forward.
Tragic the extent the elected officials will sink to perpetuated government growth.
About: Of late able to relate to George Bernard Shaw's "A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul."
