RE: Protests

By Hallie Engel

November 29, 2016
Tuesday AM

Dear Editor,

In response to Rob Holston's letter, dated November 15, the reason there were no large-scale protests after the election of President Obama might have something to do with the fact that he wasn't endorsed by the KKK, he never bragged about sexually assaulting women, and he never called Mexican people rapists, amongst other things.

Sincerely,

Hallie Engel
Hong Kong, Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China

PS: I'm a Democrat and am fortunate enough to have a job. My siblings are Democrats and both work.

About: Hallie Engel is a former Ketchikan resident now living in Hong Kong
