Our Representative Did What?
By Robert Thompson

Dear Editor:

What a great way to start the legislative year? Just a week after we in Ketchikan elected our representative to the state legislature, he finally tells us what his priority is. And it is not Ketchikan.

He offered to give up his Majority Leadership position so his girlfriend could get a committee chairmanship. In that power struggle he lost his leadership position and his membership in the majority caucus, and so did she.

We elected an idiot!

Please remember this in two years. Next time elect someone who has Ketchikan as his priority and thinks with his brain, instead of other bodily organs.
