So it's not okay to drill in Alaska for oil, which by the way keeps this economy going. Save the seals, save the caribou... blah, blah, blah.

Drilling for oil is what helps keeping families warm, enables parents to go to work to raise their families, enables southern folk to go watch their fireworks, etc.

So what should we do? Save Alaska and go invade some other state or country and drill there?

Why not use the resources that are there? People who do not live in the Alaska should just leave Alaska alone. We all pay taxes. Tax monies get used and abused, there is nothing that can be done about it.

But don't preach from your soap box when you don't live there, you don't pay Alaskan taxes. The oil and animals have been there, and will always be there, even after all the hypocrites are dead and gone.
