What a fun night!

Halloween this year was much better than last year! Yeah sure it rained a little, but for the most part, the night was pretty nice. At least it wasn't blowing sideways, and the kids weren't saying after one house they're not going out again.

This year we walked from house to house, and with me.. I had Batman, a Pirate, a Camouflage Hunter, a dog who had a princess shirt on, Misunderstood girl, Confused Teenager, a Hippie, and a Possessed Dead Ninja. Along the way we ran into some fun characters. We saw a couple of Suma Wrestlers both big and small, Cancan girls, a few Clowns, Princesses, Punk Rockers, Darth Vader and a few more great costumes! We even saw Grandmas dressing up taking their grandchildren out trick-or-treating.

We went from house to house trick-or-treating, and the kids had a great time. I was having fun just trying to get us all to stay in a group, even though at times the kids, excuse me, Batman, the Possessed Dead Ninja, and the Camouflage Hunter kept trying to get ahead of us, finally giving up with the threat of them having to hold my hand if they didn't stay with the group. Each house we went to, the trick-or-treaters were greeted with friendly adults, some even taking pictures of the crazy characters they found at their door. We also made a stop at the elder housing. I didn't realize how much the elders enjoyed all their visitors. Some were waiting in their doorways for the children to stop at their door, some just watching and enjoying all the activity that was going on.

All in all, it was a great fun night. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I know Halloween is a time for kids to dress up and be goofy, but I had a lot of fun with my trick-or-treaters, and I look forward to next year to see all the fun creative costumes the kids come up with then.
