Ketchikan, Alaska - Ketchikan Police Department officers responded to a two-vehicle injury accident at Re/Max Realty on Jefferson and First Streets Wednesday at approximately 2:00 pm.

The responding officers reported that a small Ford Escort had attempted to pull out of the alleyway behind Re/Max, and turn right onto Jefferson. The driver of the Escort, whose name was not released, stated she looked both ways before attempting to pull out, and saw nothing. However, a Honda Accord coming down Jefferson hit the Escort on the driver's side spinning it around, with the Escort ending up over the embankment with the front bumper of the Escort hitting a window on the Re/Max building.
