Vote Walker and put Alaska First.

Five years ago, I met Bill Walker for the first time. I was impressed. He is authentic and knowledgeable, with concrete plans to grow this great state of ours. I am pleased to promote his candidacy for Governor.

Last Spring and Summer, the local core of Walker supporters was predominately Republican and independent. With the reorganized campaign the party lines have been blurred. You have seen letters promoting Walker as well as Begich and Ortiz; but still there are also many of us that are supporting Bill Walker, Dan Sullivan and Chere Klein.

Bill Walker's message resonates with a broad range of folks interested in building a strong and prosperous State. Take a close look at the man, he will be a great Governor.

It is time to put Alaska first. Put our state before party politics; put our future before partisan bickering; put our economic well-being before the politics of character assassination. Elect Walker and put Alaska First. It is time for a change!

About: "I became active in local politics in 1988 while Cowper was Governor. Seven times Cowper promised Ketchikan school construction money and then vetoed it. When Hickel was elected. I met with him. He only promised that money once, but his word was good. So five years ago when he introduced Walker, I listened and I am glad I did.

The year I turned 21 I registered as a Republican, and remained in the party until last year. The actions of the GOP on the State and National stage finally was too much for me to stomach, and I quit party politics. "
