Pool
By Walt Hoefe

In 1968 I was elected to the Borough Assembly. My main platform was to push for a pool/pools. We had a lot of projects going at the time: Valley Park School, High School addition, White Cliff upgrades, Airport Terminal, buying two airport ferries. It was an exciting time, what with all the public works projects.

Don King was Borough Chairman. After some 40 years, I assume the pools needed upgrading and or replacement. I certainly hope that Ketchikan does the right thing once again.
