Gas Prices

Hey everyone, did you all notice that the price actually went down? Well it was better. I looked the day after I filled up at 4.33 and the Chevron station had 4.17 and Carrs had 4.37. I was hoping that the Carrs price was a mistake and it was, because later in the day it went to 4.17. Still it has to feel really good to be paying 1.50 more than our neighbors in Seattle and I won't accept that it is the shipping.

I agree that it is just a bad case of "GREED"!! When the price went up, it went up at about 10 cents a day and when the rest of the world was paying 2.50 we were still over 3.50 it is just plain GREED. I do understand the need for the stations to wait to lower their price until they get gas but for them to be paying something close to 1.00 -1.50 per gallon and charging us 2.00 per gallon shipping is just wrong. Since it is barged up from south I expect to pay a little more than they are paying in Seattle but not 2.00 - 3.00 a gallon. If one of the stations around here can show me what they are paying per gallon for fuel and explain to me why they are charging so much extra without going to that age old shipping cop out I would be more than happy to listen.

The last time I asked one of the station owners why they were raising their price so much I was cussed at and told that he wasn't making enough profit.
