Gas and Diesel Gouging
By Jeff Hendrickson

I, too, have been wondering why our fuel prices are not dropping as the rest of the country has been? I was talking with my mom and dad a couple days ago and they said the price of unleaded gas is now under $ 3.30 per gallon and the price of diesel is under $3.50 per gallon in Hoodsport, Wa. and both are dropping steadily. Why is it that ours isn't dropping?

It sure goes up rapidly when there's even a hint that it may go up down south, but when it comes to going down it's almost non-existent. Something is fishy in the salmon capital town of Ketchikan. It would be nice to hear from some of the local oil companies and fuel stations as to why this is happening. I, for one, am tired of the over charging at the pumps.
