Thanks Mayor Weinstein

Thank you Mayor Weinstein for standing up for our community in
light of the half truths and lies repeated over and over again
by Govenor Palin and Senator John McCain, referring to the so
called "Bridge to Nowhere".
I watched CNN's story on the new Gravina Island Highway, the
scuttled hard link plans, and their interview with you. I thought
they did a great job reporting the story. It was a sparkling
clear day, great aerial footage of Ketchikan, really showing
off our wonderful community.
I appreciate that Mayor Weinstein didn't cower away when Govenor
Palin, in her acceptance speech for Vice President, reared back
and slapped us in the face in front of the Republican National
Convention and the nation. Instead he called her on telling
the truth.
Hey! We have a new road, go over and enjoy it.
