Now that the dust has settled, I would like to take this opportunity
to express my deep appreciation for the high level of support
that Ketchikan voters gave me at our recent local school board
election. I am honored and grateful for your vote of confidence
and I will work hard to live up to the trust you have placed
in me. I pledge to follow the platform on which I ran and will
welcome your comments and concerns. I truly believe that the
best way to improve our educational system is to encourage and
receive community involvement and input.
