Regarding Freedom of Speech and Expression
By John Maki

One must remember that none of the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights are absolute. You can't libel or commit slander or sacrifice humans in the name of religion. You can't just go anywhere you please, you can't make obscene phone calls and you still have to wear clothes in public.

With all freedoms come responsibility and part of that responsibility is to reasonably exercise freeedoms without stepping on the "rights" of others.

Pretty selfish and just plain inconsiderate to wear a sweatshirt that would be obviously offensive to lots of others. Southwest Airlines exercised their option in the name of decency in an age where toleration is supposed to be the ultimate virtue. Well, there are things our society should refuse to tolerate. Without standards our society will cease to be.

I give Southwest Airlines a standing ovation.
