Airport name change?

This is suddenly a surprise. Why does a name change for the airport
suddenly come to the top of the priority list for the borough
assembly? If it is time for a name change, wouldn't it
be best to seek other's ideas regarding the subject? I
hope the newly elected borough assembly members and our newly
elected borough mayor are paying attention to our comments.
It is with no disrespect to Congressman Don Young, but this name
is not representative of the Ketchikan community.
Please think hard about this borough assembly. Naming the
airport should be a representation of Ketchikan and not a single
individual.
