VOTE! and If You Don't Vote,
Don't Complain about the Results of the Election

By Cathy Geer

Monday

How disappointing that so few citizens vote in this beautiful city! Polls are conveniently located near our homes, money is spent advertising our RIGHT to vote, and the candidates care enough to run for offices. I can't forget the nice people who volunteer to set up the poles, ensure our vote is cast, counted correctly, and supply us with an "I VOTED" sticker along with a snack for the road. Wear your sticker with pride. Maybe it will remind someone else to take less than 5 minutes to cast their vote.

Do your civic duty, look with pride on our country's flag, and VOTE tomorrow, October 4th, 2005.
