New Ketchikan Assembly Members Sworn In

Ketchikan, Alaska - Newly elected Ketchikan Assembly Members Mike Painter and Glen Thompson took the oath of office Monday evening before taking their seats on the assembly. Painter and Thompson will serve 3-year terms replacing Assembly members Maggie Sarber and Sam Bergeron. Sarber could not run again because of term limits and Bergeron chose not to run.

The next regular meeting of the Assembly will be Monday, October 19, 2004 in the City Council Chambers. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm.
