      Unveiling of Totem Poles Photos by Dick Kauffman

 Ketchikan, Alaska - Tlingit Master Carver Israel Shotridge along
      with Tsimshian Master Carver David Boxley from Metlakatla and
      Haida Master Carver Donald Varnell of Ketchikan were present
      for the unveiling of three totem poles at the Ketchikan Indian
      Community's Health Clinic Saturday morning.

      KIC Tribal Council Member David Jensen is standing behind Varnell
      and Shotridge.  Totem on the left was
      carved by Tsimshian Master Carver David Boxley from Metlakatla;
      the 40 foot totem in the middle was carved by Tlingit Master
      Carver Israel Shotridge who currently resides in Washington state;
      the totem on the right was carved by Haida Master Carver Donald
      Varnell of Ketchikan.
