So It Goes, The Vege-nazis
by Sandra Boss

October 20, 2004

Jason Love misses the point of eating healthy. None of us are going to live forever; none gets off Spaceship Earth alive. However, there will be those who live out their lives without the chronic lifestyle diseases that debilitate the majority of Americans--heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer. Living through our "golden years" without having every waking minute taken up with fighting against one of these crippling diseases is a real blessing and one that can be accomplished by making intelligent decisions about what we choose to put on the end of our forks. It's good insurance to be vegan, creating quality of life and less impact on our health care system.
