Once again the people have spoken
by Marcia Hilley

The election is over, and once again the people have spoken. That's a good thing.

My nephew, Carl C. Webb, did quite well for a one week write in campaign, I thought. However, how many more of the approximately 800 votes cast would have been counted if a KRBD announcer had not chosen to "inform" the voting public that his name was spelled with a K?

He wouldn't have won a seat this time, even if they had all been counted. But, still it seems a shame that KRBD seems to be striving for the CBS way of reporting a story - and that's a bad thing...

Sincerely,

Marcia Hilley
