Dumping AT&T cell phone service - going with Consumer Cellular.

For many years, as business owners, my wife and I used AT&T cell phone service for ourselves and a few key employees.  We were very pleased until several months ago when I suddenly suspected that my iPhone had developed some sort of internal short!  I was suffering from one dropped call after another....... come to find out my wife’s phone had the same problem and ANYONE I’ve talked to re AT&T cell service seems to have the same problem.  “You can hear them and they can’t hear you” is the common theme.

AT&T reps will say it’s a common problem but offer no solution.  AT&T is hiding the truth!  Something changed and all AT&T customers seem to be suffering from a “bait and switch” scheme by AT&T.  My monthly bill with AT&T runs a little over $120 per month.  I have recently switched to Consumer Cellular for less than $50 per month for our two lines, same plan as AT&T.  The good news is, we will be saving about $900 per year.  The bad news....... consumer Cellular uses the AT&T cell towers..... so most likely we’ll have the same spotty service.  Oh, by the way, our AT&T phone service worked flawlessly in Kauai recently.  Other than AT&T, it’s good to be home.
