Two Arrested for Selling Meth

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Ketchikan Police Detectives received information around noon on Friday the 13th of persons selling narcotics out of a hotel room in Ketchikan. Lapairs  A. Shaw, age 21, and Rebecca L. A. Heisler, age 32, both of Ketchikan were developed as suspects. 

A search warrant was executed and approximately a quarter ounce of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, syringes and plastic baggies were seized along with approximately $1,100.00 cash. 

As a result of the investigation Shaw was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release. 

Heisler was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. 

Both were transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center and held without bail.
